Libertarians Hunt Humans—And Other Tales

The latest hysterical response to libertarian ideas

David Harsanyi | September 2, 2011

With the electorate getting more comfortable with libertarian ideas, a Maginot Line of hackery is being built to keep the barbarians out.

If Ice Cream was Illegal...

...then only Criminals would have Ice Cream! Hmmm... I suppose, but since many good citizens abide by unjust laws based on fear of ramification, it would depend on the criminality and the level of punishment handed down for the possession of Ice cream. The statement is very true in a legal sense because, like drug users that believe it is their right to ingest things into their own bodies as long as no one else gets hurt, good citizens that would choose to circumvent the law would be, by law, criminals. Imagine a justice system clogged up by Mexican dairy product. Mmmmm!!!

Drunken Discharge or Elitist Drivel..

If Chief Jacocks is so concerned about the prospect of intoxicated arguments turning into gunfights, he should have submitted language to the legislature that applies a "no drinking" rule to law enforcement officers and commonwealth's attorneys. They are currently allowed to carry a concealed handgun in a bar and to consume alcohol while doing it. The proposed legislation would not change this fact.
